Beaphar Fly-Free is a veterinary strength medicine containing permethrin to kill flies, fleas, ticks and lice, and helps to prevent blow fly strike on your pet for up to one week.
Suitable for rabbits, guinea pigs and ferrets from 12 weeks of age.
Fly strike in rabbits and guinea pigs is usually caused by poor hutch hygiene or faeces sticking to the rear end of the animal, which attracts flies to lay their eggs. For Beaphar Fly-Free to be fully effective, it is important to ensure good hutch hygiene and remove any faeces from your pet before use.
IMPORTANT: blow fly strike is extremely serious. If your rabbit or guinea pig is already infested with maggots you MUST seek veterinary attention immediately. Any delay is likely to result in the death of your pet.
